Health, Safety & Wellness Programs

There are a number of programs that are offered throughout the year. These programs are those which we receive regular requests to provide. The Health Education Division may also create new programming as a result of a request or a need recognized by our community. Interested parties may ask for specific programming on other subject matter by contacting the Health Education Division.

Community programs and health fairs

The Health Education Division accepts requests for programming from all community members including business and industry. For a specific program request on a topic please contact our office at 523-2116. For health fair requests please follow this link and complete the form and return as soon as possible.

We shall try and honor all requests given staff availability and subject matter. Requests should be submitted as soon as possible in order to properly schedule and avoid conflicts.

The Health Education Division does not charge for services except where it is noted in the program description. Donations are accepted in order to continue to provide services.

School programs and health fairs

School programming is vital to our community’s health and the Health Education Division provides this the entire year. We take this programming to elementary, middle and high school classrooms during the school year. During the summer we are able to provide programming to pre-schools, boys and girls clubs and others as well. In order to provide this service in the most efficient manner we have separated the programming from the health fairs. This link shares with you the type of programs we offer and the registration form.

Health fairs are offered when schools would like to have a number of programs presented to a larger group in a short period of time. A number of programs are generally selected and students rotate thru stations to gain exposure on a number of topics. Please follow this link for topics and Health Fair Request Form.

There are no charges for school programming. Request to cover subject matter not listed should be made to 523-2116.
