STI's infect 1 in 4 adolescents and adults.

There are many STI's, bacterial and viral. STI's are serious, sometimes painful, and can cause a lot of damage. There are some STI's that will only infect your reproductive organs, but other STI's such as HIV, Hepatitis and Syphilis can cause infections throughout your body. Many do not cause any symptoms at first; however, regardless of symptoms you may still spread the STI to another partner until you are properly treated.

Viral STI's cannot be cured, but with proper treatment, symptoms can be controlled.

The ONLY way to know if you have a STI is through medical testing.

The Elkhart County STI Program offers confidential screening for the following:

Walk-In Clinic Hours:
Monday 8-12:00pm & 1-5:00pm
Tuesday-Friday 8-12:00am & 1-4:00pm
Patients seen on a first come first serve basis.
